Amid global economic challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Indonesia has signed important partnerships with businesses based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The cooperation was confirmed through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on Export and Import of Trade Products and Commodities between PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (PPI) and two companies based in the United Arab Emirates (PEA) which was carried out virtually on Thursday (15/10/22).
This step aims to increase exports amid the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, according to the head of ITPC Dubai Heny Rusmiyati, this collaboration also aims to support Indonesian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to enter the international market in the Middle East region, especially the UAE.
